Tony has over 30 years' experience as an Accountant.  Up until 2012 he was operating his own practice - A. Taylor Taxation & Accounting Services.  Tony's practice serviced the needs of the Hamilton Community for over 20 years with a friendly and personalised approach.  While still located in Hamilton, merging his firm with Brewster Walsh and Associates has enabled Tony to offer a wider range of expertise, knowledge and expanded services to his clients.

Being a Tax Practitioner for so many years, Tony's level of knowledge and experience is very wide ranging, crossing all industries that small businesses in rural communities operate in.

Barry joined Brewster Walsh's Hamilton office in 2012 and has over 10 years accounting experience which has enabled him to develop an impressive range of technical skills.  As well as his professional career, Barry and his partner operate a farming enterprise comprising of stud rams, commercial lamb production and superfine wool.  Having grown up south of Hamilton and being a fourth generation primary producer he fully appreciates the many challenges that face his farming clients, and is uniquely qualified to offer invaluable business and taxation advice.

Mark joined Brewster Walsh in 2012 as a fully qualified accountant with over 7 years' experience.  While most of Mark's working experience is in Taxation he has also held an internal finance role where at times his duties closely match those that his clients complete on a day to day basis.  This allows Mark a good insight to his client's position "from the other side of the desk".

Paul has been a valued member of the Brewster Walsh & Associates team since joining the company in 2005.  Paul decided to make accounting his career after experiencing the accounting world as an Administrative Assistant.

Bruce Longney - Assistant Accountant

 

Bruce began his career as an Assistant Accountant in 1979 and joined Brewster Walsh & Associates in 2006.

 

As part of his duties, Bruce prepares Business Activity and Financial Statements an assists with the Companies Audit Services.  Specialising in Payroll Services, Bruce handles payrolls on behalf of employers and assists clients in managing their payroll requirements.

Lambrini Grieg - Assistant Accountant

After completing a Diploma in Accounting, Lambrini started part time employment with Brewster Walsh & Associates in 2003.

Currently Lambrini is involved in processing and completing Self Managed Superannuation Funds and completes quarterly Business Activity Statements and Income Tax Returns for various clients.

Colleen Bell - Assistant Accountant

Colleen began her career in the accounting industry in 1989 and now works as a bookkeeper with Brewster Walsh & Associates.  Colleen has over 21 years experience in accounting services and specialises in the preparation of Business Activity Statements and Income Tax Return preparation.

Louise Finnigan - Team Co-Ordinator

Louise worked at Stewart Ruge & Walsh from 1984 until the end of 1994.  Louise re-commenced with Brewster Walsh & Associates in 2006 as a receptionist.  She was soon promoted to Team Co-Ordinator.

Louise has formed close bonds with many clients due to her confident, proactive and positive attitude.

Louise's work includes the following:

  • All facets of correspondence - opening and distribution of mail
  • Participation in team meetings and taking minutes and following up matters discussed with the team
  • Document preparation and processing (letters, statements of advice, forms, presentations etc)

Cathie Cram - Receptionist/Administration

Cathie started her career in the Accounting industry in 2000.  In 2006 Cathie joined the company of Brewster Walsh & Associates as a receptionist, dealing with the public over the telephone, be email and in person.

She feels that the most satisfying aspect about being a receptionist is the reward and recognition that she gets when helping clients.

Cathie carries out a variety of tasks during her working day, including:

  • Answering and transferring telephone calls
  • Answering account inquiries
  • Managing and updating the database
  • Organising seminars
  • Receipting and banking
  • Scheduling appointments

 

Hilda Linssen - Receptionist/Administration

Hilda joined Stewart Ruge & Walsh in 1983 as an Administrator/Receptionist.

Hilda is a valued member of Brewster Walsh & Associates, Accounting Administration Team and over the years has had many and varied roles.  These include:

  • Accounting support (Debtor management, ATO Lodgements)
  • Managing and updating databases
  • All facets of administration work
  • Answering the telephone, directing calls, appointments etc
